Applications for Statutory Consents 2018

Screening Determination on Environmental Risk Assessment (EIA Screening) for Annex IV Species submitted by Providence Resources Plc for Survey to Conduct a Seabed Debris Clearance, Environmental Baseline and Habitat Assessment Site Survey at Newgrange. 

In accordance with EU Directive 2014/52/EU a screening determination must be made within 90 days as to whether an Environmental Impact Assessment Report is required. Under Article 6.2 of the Directive the public should be informed early in the decision making process through ensuring that the relevant information is available to the public through accessible points of access to allow them participate effectively in environmental decision making. This application was posted on the Department's website on 23rd March 2018 and any submission received by 20th April will be considered by the Minister in making such a determination.

Application submitted by Shell Exploration and Production Ireland Ltd (SEPIL) for survey to conduct an offshore pipeline survey and inspection / maintenance programme of the offshore facilities in the Corrib Field along with some remedial work on the P3 well.
