The Fisheries Consolidation Act 1959 is the Principal Act governing the Inland Fisheries Sector in Ireland. This Act consolidated the Fisheries Acts from 1842 to 1958 into one piece of legislation. The original Act contains 335 sections and can be viewed in full on the Irish Statute Book at the following link:

Amendments
There have been numerous amendments made to the original Act.
