2019 Call for Proposals

The 2019 Call was published on the LIFE website on 4th April 2019.

For the Environment sub-programme (including nature), there is now a two-stage application process. This initially involves submission of an 11-page Concept Note. If this is approved, a Full Proposal must be submitted.

Writing the Concept Note requires considerably less effort compared to writing a Full Proposal. However, we strongly advise applicants to obtain funding commitments for that part of the budget not financed from the European Commission prior to submission of the Concept Note. We also strongly encourage applicants to contact us in the National Contact Point as early as possible to ensure that multiple similar Concept Notes are not submitted.
