Air Quality Publications

‚ÄčThe Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment manages matters relating to air quality. Air quality is seen as the major environmental challenge, after climate change, facing Ireland. Given the importance of air quality we propose to introduce a National Clean Air Strategy. It will be the policy umbrella for a number of initiatives; including the nationwide extension of the smoky coal ban.

These documents are of relevance to the development of the Clean Air Strategy and will inform its eventual content.
