This Order appoints 14 July, 1999, to be the establishment day for the purposes of section 8 of the Electricity Regulation Act, 1999. On that day there shall stand established the Commission for Electricity Regulation, to perform the functions conferred on it by the Electricity Regulation Act, 1999.
