The Minister for Communications, Energy & Natural Resources, Mr Alex White, TD, now invites comments and/or observations from all interested parties, including individuals, organisations, companies, and broadcasters, on any or all of the issues outlined in the Media Mergers Guidelines. Set out below are the draft Media Mergers Guidelines and the draft Notification form, to be used by parties submitting a Notification to the Minister:

Freedom of Information
Respondents should be aware that the Department is bound by the Freedom of Information legislation and where confidential or commercially sensitive information is included in their submissions the information should be clearly identified. The Department also reserves the right to publish the submissions received (subject to the redaction of clearly identified confidential or commercially sensitive information)
